Several celebratory events are held for the Senior Class during the academic year, as well as during the days just prior to Commencement (commonly known as “Senior Week”). The planning for these programs is a joint effort of the Senior Class Officers and staff from the Office of Campus Life, Dean’s Office and College Relations, with additional logistical support from many campus offices including Campus Safety, Dining Services, Facilities, and others.
  • Senior Week 2022 Schedule

    Tuesday, May 31, 2022

    Seniorize Sunrise Hike – Paresky Center Porch – 6:00 a.m.
    Scott Lewis will meet students at Paresky Porch to take them on a hike to see the sunrise. Please make sure to dress appropriately for the hike and weather conditions. There will also be snacks provided at this event.

    Ice Cream Social  – Mears House Lawn  – 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. 
    There will be free ice cream provided for student on the lawn at Mears House (lawn in front of ’68 Center for Career Exploration). This event is being sponsored and brought to you by the Alumni Fund and Parents Fund.

    Senior Week Wristbanding – Paresky Center – 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    In order to receive your wristband to attend Senior Week you must attend this wrist-banding opportunity.  In order to get your wristband you must have your Williams ID (If you have lost your ID please visit CSS and get a new one in advance). At this event you name your name will be verified on a list and you will be issued a specific cloth wristband for the week that you must wear at all events. Please do not remove this wristband during the week for any reason and If you lose this wristband you will not be provided with another.

    Senior Trivia  – The Log – 7:00 p.m. – Midnight
    There will be trivia, free food, beverages, a cash bar, and each Senior will get one free beverage at the event. This event is only open to Seniors who signed-up for Senior Week and no guests are permitted.

    Senior Week Wristbanding – Paresky Center – 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
    In order to receive your wristband to attend Senior Week you must attend this wrist-banding opportunity.  In order to get your wristband you must have your Williams ID (If you have lost your ID please visit CSS and get a new one in advance).     Class Photo – Paresky Center Porch – 2:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.
    Please make sure to be on time and attend to be in the Class picture.

    Mt. Hope Dinner Dance – Mt. Hope – 5:30 p.m. – 12:00 a.m.
    There will be a dance up at Mt. Hope for the Senior Class featuring a Faculty/Staff Cocktail Hour, Class Toasts, Dinner, Live Band, Dancing, Photographer, and Photo Booth. This event is only open to Seniors who signed-up for Senior Week and indicated that they are choosing to attend this event. There are no guests permitted for this event. The check-in for the event will be at ’62 Center and starts at 5:30 p.m. There will be a specific email with instructions sent out to each student attending prior to the event that they must read.

    Thursday, June 2, 2022

    Mt. Hope Jazz Brunch – Mt. Hope – 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
    There will be a Jazz Brunch at Mt. Hope featuring Class Toasts and remarks from Alumni Relations and the Society of Alumni. This event is only open to Seniors who signed-up for Senior Week and indicated that they are choosing to attend this event. There are no guests permitted for this event. The check-in for the event will be at ’62 Center and starts at 10:00 a.m. There will be a specific email with instructions sent out to each student attending prior to the event that they must read. The event is being sponsored by Alumni Relation and the Society of Alumni.

    Night Under The Stars Formal – Frosh Quad Tent – 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
    A dance party will be occurring with good music, lights, and a DJ playing music under the Frosh Quad Tent. There will be a photographer and photo booth at the event as well. The event will also have substantial catering, a bar, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be a specific email with instructions sent out to each student attending prior to the event that they must read.

    Friday, June 3, 2022

    Brunch – Paresky Center -Whitman’s – 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
    There will be brunch service at Whitman’s in Paresky Center.

    Entry BBQ – Field By Poker Flats Field  – 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  (rain location Mission Park)
    There will be a BBQ with plenty of good food. This will be a great opportunity where you can reconnect with people from your entry. If it is unable to stay outside a message will be sent to students notifying them of location change.

    Senior Campfire – Poker Flats Fire Pit  – 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
    There will be a campfire with s’more as well alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. This will be a nice way to relax and have conversations with your classmates.

    SNAR (Snack Bar) Greatest Hits – Paresky Center – 10:00 p.m. – Midnight
    As we cap off the week we wanted to end it with a student favorite. There will be an open tab at Snack Bar featuring some of your favorite foods from your time at Williams. Please enjoy the opportunity for one last SNAR moment as a class.
